The Brimsdale Slasher

Loved this game and it's tongue in cheek style. The news section was great, Lucy is best girl, and the game has good tension while being humorous.

I LOVED this! Home invasion horror games have to be some of the scariest games one can play. What could be more dangerous than to be stalked in the one place we feel safe? The Brimsdale Slasher stands out from the rest for several reasons. The game presents a believable story and plausible scenario. The set up is so important, and yet an element so many games miss. A simple house sitting job, relaxing for the evening with some scary movies. It’s not long before everything goes to shit. You’re not only tasked to run away, but you’ll need to find useful items and solve some minor puzzles if you want to live. The Brimsdale Slasher remains scary throughout because you’re facing an active threat. It’s nice to be dealing with an AI; it assures that there is something at stake. And that matters. 

The Brimsdale Slasher doesn’t play like it’s the developer’s first attempt. It’s got everything a good slasher game should have. I can’t wait to experience future games from Team Odd Socks.

For your first game, it's fairly well made. The only issues I ran into is the key shadow when you die to the slasher, inventory not resetting to when you entered the basement. Other then that, very good game for a first game.
